Want some baking?

Our mission is to spread kindness, one treat at a time. Good Bitches Baking partners with community organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand to share kindness through home baking. Our volunteers bake treats in their own homes and deliver them to vetted recipient organisations.

Once onboarded, your organisation will receive boxes of home baking such as slices, sweet or savoury muffins, biscuits or cakes. Each box contains enough for 15-20 people and is baked and delivered by GBB volunteers. 

We deliver baking to organisations including hospices, refuges, and those who provide support to individuals and whānau experiencing illness, bereavement, financial hardship and mental distress. 

We know this small act of kindness helps people feel seen and connected to their community and allows very stretched budgets to go a little further. Through sharing kai it is a little easier to open difficult conversations and break down barriers, and provide a moment of respite for those who are struggling.

Together you'll discuss whether Good Bitches Baking is the right fit for your organisation, how much baking you need, how often you'd like deliveries, and the best arrangements for drop-off.

To help ensure we’re a good fit for each other, we’ll ask:

• How do your organisation’s values and purpose align with GBB’s?

• How much baking do you need and how often?

• What days and times work best for delivery?

• Where can volunteers safely leave baking?

• Are there any delivery instructions or baking requirements volunteers should know?

• Who will contact us if there are any changes or problems (including public holiday closures, change in number of attendees/boxes needed)?
